Donna was a cute fuzzy puppy who got left behind when the neighbors moved in March of 1991. Their loss, our gain. She is one of the best pets anyone could ask for and our best guess is that she is a shepherd/chow mix.

She has spent most of her adult life as a therapy dog who really enjoyed performing tricks for the people we visited. Of course, if they just wanted to stroke her soft fur, that was fine too.

Donna is getting on up there in age and it's hard for her to get around so she hasn't done much pet therapy lately, but she still enjoys her favorite activity of rolling in the grass on a sunny day.

Acupuncture and chinese herbal remedies help keep her comfortable and moving as well as she can with extensive arthritis. Dr. Jean Fowler at All About Pets keeps her going.

RIP At the Rainbow Bridge

1987 - 2006

Astra got off to rough start but has had pretty comfy life since we rescued her from a dumpster in the summer of 1987. Her eye was so badly infected at that time that it had to be removed. It doesn't seem to bother her any. She's a very vocal cat and has us perfectly trained to give her goodies when she wants them.

We'll miss you, Astra.

Cassidy is a very sweet and petite cat who was also dumped in the fall of 1991 and being the suckers that we are for a cute face, we brought her home. She loves to spend her days sitting in the windows and watching the birds.

Bailey is one of the nicest cats around. She's independent of course, but is very polite about asking for attention when she wants some. She has incredibly soft fur and a soft voice. We brought her home in the summer of 1995.
